I LOVE hispanic food. I must make tacos several times a month, not counting burritoes and tostadas! These recipes are easy, efficient, and extremely good.
I used to be an avid user of store bought taco seasoning – until I started reading what was in them! GMOs? MSG? No thank you!
It is very simple to make your own taco seasoning and store it in an old empty spice jar or small container. Making your own also saves you money in the long run!
Recipe:
1/2 cup chili powder
4 tsp. cumin
2 tsp. sea salt
2 tsp. white pepper
3 tbsp. onion powder
2 tbsp. granulated garlic
1 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 tsp. chipotle chili pepper
Combine ingredients in a small spice jar or container and use with any recipe that calls for it.
