I LOVE SMOOTHIES! When I am craving something sweet, smoothies are not only healthy, but are fast and easy to make! This smoothie is especially good for the summer months. Now I know most smoothies are made with bananas – but I happen to be allergic to bananas so I came up with this quick and easy smoothie recipe. It’s also dairy-free 🙂


1/4 cup blackberries, fresh or frozen, thawed

1/4 cup raspberries, fresh or frozen, thawed

1/4 cup strawberries, fresk or frozen, thawed

1/4 cup blueberries, fresh or frozen, thawed

1/2 cup coconut milk (I used vanilla coconut milk but soy, almond, and regular work too!)

1 tbsp honey

Juice of half a lime

1 cup ice (preferrably small cubes as the larger ones will make it harder to blend)

Combine all ingredients (except the coconut milk) in a blender. While ingredients are mixing, take off the plastic top of the blender and slowly pour in the coconut milk until well combined. Serve immediately and enjoy! Makes 2-3 servings.
